The goal of the undertaken research is to develop an unique construction of the top foil to make it become a multi-parameter sensor. Consequently, adequate modifications regarding the bearings structural parts have been introduced to a standard GFB to allow for temperature and strain measurements. Figure below visualizes all stages of design and assembly processes proposed for the developed GFB’s solution.
